Big Brands Get Serious about Increasing Research ROI through Crowdsourcing : The Advertising Club of Edmonton

Description

A single crowdsourced market research program can generate rich, insightful qualitative and quantitative datasets which would require multiple waves of traditional research and be nearly impossible to deploy globally. Also, these highly-engaged crowd communities can evolve to become “on-demand” market insights assets that can be accessed economically for future research, brand engagement, and innovation programs.

Join Sharon McIntyre, Chief Social Scientist at Chaordix Inc., for this MRIA Alberta Chapter luncheon event at which she will present case studies where crowdsourcing was used to increase research value.

Chaordix is based in Calgary, with offices in London, UK, and has emerged as the global standard in crowdsourced market intelligence programs and technology. They work with brands such as P&G, American Airlines, Reckitt Benckiser, FutureBrand, USAID, and IBM.

Sharon will be presenting case studies that demonstrate:
•The major differences between crowdsourced and traditional market research program design,
•How specific global brands and government agencies are successfully incorporating digital crowdsourcing techniques in their market reserach and insights activities, and
•Practical ideas for marketing practitioners to incorporate crowdsourcing techniques into traditional and digital market research practices.

Who should attend?
•People in the marketing research, marketing and communication professions
•Individuals who have heard of crowdsourcing but want to see its practical use in global marketing
•People who want to learn more about online communities on a strategic level
•Marketers who are looking for new sources on insight and innovation for brands and products
