Description

Sponsored by MacEwan University

MRIA Alberta Chapter Luncheon Event
Edmonton Insight Community: Engaging Edmontonians

In 2014, the City of Edmonton launched the Edmonton Insight Community. The Insight Community is an online community of 7,000 Edmonton residents who provide the City feedback on a wide range of topics on an ongoing basis. As one of the first municipalities in Canada to launch a citizen panel, come learn from Mark Boulter (CMRP), Manager of Corporate Research on how the City recruits members, maintains the health of the community and how it fits in to the new City of Edmonton public engagement policy.

If you are a buyer of research or a researcher who maintains or utilizes panels in their work come and learn about how the City of Edmonton keeps their panel healthy, what they do to ensure the quality of their data and procedures they have developed to ensure their panelists have the best possible experience when participating in research.
