Four days of learning, networking and innovative thinking, PICA is a design conference that brings together visual communicators, educators, students and industry representatives from across Canada to meet and network. Just to name a few of our speakers that would be a hit with the ACE crowd, we have Alex Centre (Coca-Cola), Ilise Benun (Marketing-Mentor.com), Daniel Weinand (Shopify) and many more. There will be 10 speakers over 2 days! Along with the speakers, PICA has a number of events and workshops including: DAY 1 – The Ground Floor (Student Day): a day-long series of lectures and panel discussions for students making the transition into the profession of Graphic Design DAY 2 – Past, Present and Future (Education Day): a day of workshops and academic presentations about design education * Lettering for the Masses: A workshop dedicated to hand-drawn type run by renowned typographer Alejandro Paul.
