General Accountability

Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Vendor Management, the Communications & Proposal Coordinator will be involved in the delivery and execution of PCM Canada internal and external communication deliverables, with focus on creating strategic responses (bids/proposals) to client RFx documents. These responses are often the most dominant representation of PCM Canada to many of our customers, and as such, are critical to the success of our organization.

This role requires working under tight deadlines, collaborating with numerous internal stakeholders located across the country, and a strong understanding of PCM Canada’s core values and vision in order to produce strategic communication deliverables. Specific Accountabilities

Responsible for executing Proposal Process, including the following:

  • Actively communicate with many different stakeholders (internal and external) to coordinate the delivery of content that will form the basis of a proposal response.
  • Compile content into a professional proposal document that is accurate, cohesive, and consistent with PCM Canada standards and brand identity.
  • Manage delivery timelines and facilitate checkpoint interactions between stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the printing and timely delivery of proposals to clients located across Canada.
  • Direct and ongoing consultation with wide range of Subject Matter Experts and internal stakeholders.

Actively assist with internal and external communication deliverables, including but not limited to:

  • Communication campaigns and collateral development (white papers, client case studies, presentations, and press releases)
  • External and Internal Website content development
  • Social Media strategy and execution (Facebook, Twitter, blogs)

Qualifications (Education/Experience/Skills & Abilities)

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, and/or Communication related fields
  • Minimum of one year of experience (or combined experience) in Marketing and Communications, or related discipline
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral), and experience with a wide variety of communication mediums (portfolio demonstrating written skills an asset)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively time manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Effective analytical, problem solving/issue resolution skills
  • D emonstrate initiative, innovation, and creativity
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio); Adobe Professional Suite experience an asset
  • Knowledge of IT products and services an asset.
