The Marketing Content Specialist will work with the Marketing Team (and under direction of the Marketing Manager) to assist in the development and execution of strategies for the Cameron Development Division, as well as advise other divisions on best practices as needed.


  • Develop and implement digital media strategies
  • Engage and grow audiences of our social media channels for our commercial development division
  • Remain knowledgeable of news and trends in the commercial development and retail industry
  • Track and report on digital media metrics (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, and other performance measurement tools)
  • Understand and analyze trends to communicate to a broader internal audience
  • Create B2B and B2C surveys
  • Generate structure and content for several e-newsletters
  • Liaise with internal decision makers and gather “news-worthy” information
  • Advise on best practices for all the divisions


  • Post-secondary education in marketing, journalism, communications, graphic design or related fields
  • Minimum three years of marketing and content creation experience
  • A creative mindset with proven technical ability
  • Proficiency with web content management systems, specifically WordPress, is a must
  • Basic understanding of SEO
  • Proficient in use of popular social media platforms, especially Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Able to develop Google AdWords campaigns
  • Experience writing engaging blog content
  • Marketing experience in the real estate and retail industry is preferred
  • Graphic Design capability with Adobe Creative Suite is an asset

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/Working Conditions:

  • Being able to work at desk for long periods of time
  • Some work will be located on site at various locations so a car will be required.
