2nd Annual Beer Olympics

Calling all YEG marketing folks! ACE will be hosting our second annual Beer Olympics event, in partnership with Top Draw! Compete for gold on Top Draw’s rooftop patio on Thursday, July 19.

Here’s what you need to know:

• SIGN UP
  • Gather your best drinkers and the co-workers with the most spirit and sign up by buying tickets below
  • Sign up with teams of 6 people. Make sure you buy tickets for everyone on your team at once. If you need to make any changes, please email us at [email protected]
  • If you don’t have a team, or can’t find 6 people, don’t worry. Sign up anyways and we’ll pair you up with some other contestants.
  • When you sign up make sure you have a Team Name and get ready to represent. This is a competition, so you will need to come in team colours, jerseys, whatever you need to intimidate the other teams. Extra points will be rewarded for creative team names and outfits. (Email us at [email protected] if you come up with your name after registering)
  • There are limited spots, so make sure you sign up as soon as you have a team.
  • Both ACE and Top Draw will donate $250. The winning team will get to donate this $500 prize to a charity of their choice.
• GAME PLAN
  • 6:00 – Doors will open / teams sign-in
  • 6:30 – Opening Ceremonies (all teams must be signed in before 6:30pm)
  • 6:30 to 8:30 – Olympic Events
  • 9:00 PM – Closing Ceremonies and Winners Announced
  • 11:00 PM – Top Draw Closes Down

There will be multiple Olympic Events where each team can get points. Scores are then added up from each event to determine a winner.

FEES
• $10/person for ACE Members
• $15/person for Non-Members

*This event is an industry mixer and is open to working members only. This event is not open to students.

Tickets include all alcohol required for olympic events, snacks and prizing. If there is any beer left in the kegs after the olympic competition ends, it will be enjoyed free of charge.

This is a “beer” olympics event, which means only beer will be available. No substitutions.
