I'm currently nearing the end of my Bachelor of Commerce degree at MacEwan University! I am the Direct of Events for the MacEwan University Marketing club, where I get to help promote my passion for marketing. I love strategy, problem-solving, storytelling, creativity, and being kept on my toes! I've discovered that marketing encompasses these aspects and pushed me to pursue a degree in it. I have an interest in working on the consulting side as well as the client side of marketing. I'm passionate about the outdoors, traveling, sports, music, healthy living, and making a difference. These aspects have made me very interested in working in various industries such as tourism, events, agriculture, forestry, environmental, and natural resources/energy. Related Experience Marketing Experience: Marketing Summer student at Pond Pro Canada, where I created content for email marketing and social media, including newsletters, blogs, and content creation. Additionally, I responded to and resolved customer service issues for retail customers and developed quotes for residential and commercial clients. Worked with Advanis, KYN Apparel, Roterra, Green & Gold Community Garden, and Banh Mi Cali to develop Marketing Strategies that involved in-depth analysis of current marketing practices, marketing research, and final strategy development. Management Experience: Completed a Business Management Diploma, was a retail manager at Sportchek, have been various crew leads amongst other previous jobs and was a front-of-house manager at a restaurant ( Hometown Grill). Continued to demonstrate these skills throughout university in multitudes of group projects.
