Account Supervisor : The Advertising Club of Edmonton

Job Description

WE TEAR DOWN WALLS
We named our agency after the kind of people who protested, crossed, and eventually tore down the Berlin wall to reunify their city. We believe that with creative ingenuity, some courage, and good planning, it’s possible to beat long odds and change the status quo.

We don’t tear down walls made of concrete, but we do tear down metaphorical walls to remove barriers that get in the way of connecting with your audiences, rallying your partners, and making your mark on the world.

We don’t fear complexity or contention. These things are common features of most issues that matter, and we know how to handle them constructively through a combination of advertising, strategy, and communications.

We are currently seeking an experienced Account Supervisor to join our team of Berliners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead client accounts and maintain a positive relationship with clients.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies and marketing plans that align with the client objectives.
  • Strategy and recommendation writing.
  • Leading client and internal meetings.
  • Identifying emerging market, audience or project issues and provide solutions.
  • Oversee project delivery, ensuring high-quality work that meets clients needs.
  • Manage account budgets and timelines to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Mentor and train junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Liaising with the rest of the Berlin team in pursuit of excellent client work.
  • Stay current on industry trends and news, sharing insight with clients and team members.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

  • At least 4-5 years of communications or marketing experience.
  • Experience serving internal or external clients.
  • Strong writing and communications skills.

Helpful:

  • Experience working at an advertising agency or in-house agency model environment.
  • Experience managing mass campaigns including traditional and digital media.
  • Project management training.
  • Experience working with government, public-sector, and/or member-based organizations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, arts, or communications.

We are an equal opportunity employer. We welcome diversity and encourage applications from all qualified people. We’re grateful for everyone’s interest, but only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. Salary for this position will be in the range of $70,000 to $80,000 and will include the following benefits:
