Role Description: We are looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team and help us maintain our financial accuracy. You will be responsible for managing and recording financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the agency’s accounting needs on a weekly basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in bookkeeping and a keen eye for detail who is looking for a flexible work schedule. Key Responsibilities: Record daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy in the general ledger. Reconcile bank statements and accounts. Prepare and process invoices and payments. Maintain and update financial spreadsheets and records. Create and maintain organizational systems. Assist with monthly financial reports and budgeting. Provide support for audits and financial reviews as needed. Address and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Qualifications and Behavioral Competencies: Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. Ability to work in-office, one day a week, 9am-3pm (we are located on 104th street downtown) Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Diploma in a related field required. Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience. Hours: 20-25 hours per month Hourly pay: $23-26 depending on experience. We are an equal opportunity employer.
