Job Description

You will work with our team and contribute to the development of client brands, brand assets, websites, digital and print campaigns, and the final production of artwork. As we are continually expanding our business, we are currently looking to welcome a creative, skilled and passionate Graphic Designer to our team.

Creative Design & Production Job Requirements:

A passion for great design.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).

Strong problem solving and conceptual skills.

Experience in designing brands and full campaigns, with both online and print applications.

Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in graphic design and visual branding.

Exceptional sense of visual design, including typography, colour theory, production and layout, file preparation and pre-flighting.

Ability to work independently.

Strong time management and organizational skills.

Understanding of current web standards, principles and best practices with regards to digital marketing, display ads, and social media. Experience in SEO is a plus.

Ability to clearly communicate ideas and collaborate at all levels.

Experience and/or knowledge using WordPress themes and plugins, including E-Commerce.

Strong time management and organizational skills, ability to manage timelines and client deadlines as well as keep detailed reporting of your daily project by project hours.

Proven job reliability and attention to detail.

Strong portfolio of previous work.

Your responsibilities include:

Research, design, and layout artwork for both digital and print applications.

Help develop client brands, campaigns and marketing materials from concept to finalization.

Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with the Creative Director for a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, reports, print collateral, posters, brochures, signage, annual reports, brand identities, communication material, newsletters, social content, and marketing materials.

Monitor and meet various design deadlines without compromising the quality of output or deliverables.

Come up with new, creative and fresh ideas for visual design and marketing projects and implement them when appropriate.

Work within each client project’s respective brand identity to translate overarching strategic direction into high-quality design assets.

Education Requirements

5+ years of graphic design experience in design studio setting

Post-secondary degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Media Studies, or Illustration.
