JOB SUMMARY:

AGLC is seeking a results-driven Senior Marketing Officer to lead province-wide campaigns for our GameSense and gaming social responsibility programs. This role blends strategic planning, creative execution, and performance evaluation to promote responsible gaming across Alberta.

 

Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Marketing & Brand, the Senior Marketing Officer is responsible for leading the strategy, execution, management, analysis and evaluation of individual social responsibility (SR) marketing and corporate campaigns (of varying detail, size and length) to support marketing objectives. The incumbent is expected to take a corporate, collaborative and innovative approach to campaigns to deploy marketing solutions that acquire consumer attention and engagement.

 

To be successful in this position you will:

 

  • Develop and execute marketing plans that reach diverse Albertan audiences
  • Lead campaigns using a full media mix, with emphasis on digital and social platforms
  • Analyze consumer data and campaign metrics to optimize performance
  • Coordinate with media buying agencies to plan, traffic, and evaluate paid media
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications across multiple projects
  • Report campaign outcomes and provide actionable recommendations for future initiatives

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (equivalencies considered)
  • Minimum 4 years of professional marketing experience, including campaign management
  • Proven ability to manage multi-channel campaigns
  • Experience working with large complex budgets
  • Strong knowledge of media planning, digital analytics, and social media strategy
  • Experience using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with ability to tailor messaging to varied audiences
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering on time and within scope
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • A creative mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and innovation
  • Agency experience is considered an asset

Salary: $75,196.71 - $98,566.65
