In the ad world, the best Account Managers are not unlike talented circus performers. At any given moment, they could have multiple “plates” spinning in the air — things like budgets, timelines, client calls, and meetings. And with all eyes on their routine, they thrive on keeping it all from crashing down. We’re looking for someone just like that: someone who can keep their cool in a fast-paced environment, all while delighting our clients with professional, top-notch service. If you think of yourself (figuratively of course) as a super-skilled plate spinner we’d like to pick your brain.

Simply put, we are looking for an organized and experienced Account Manager to join the zag fam. Our ideal new hire will have 3 to 5 years of experience working in the marketing world, with bonus points for time spent in an agency setting. Our new hire will be a pro at organization and multi-tasking. Our account team handles multiple clients, which means ongoing project management, coordinating resources, budgeting, and sometimes finding ways to make the impossible possible. We’re looking not for a problem solver, but a problem anticipator. Ready to dive in even more? Here are a few of the other ways you’ll help us:

  • Participate in client meetings and strategic planning sessions
  • Support new business by assisting with estimates and proposals for prospective clients
  • Develop clear actions with appropriate deadlines for client deliverables
  • Liaise with media and suppliers to plan and develop media buys
  • Review client time reports on a monthly basis to ensure projects and retainers are on budget
