    • Exceptional professional portfolio demonstrating copy, digital, social and promotional content for retail brands or highly regulated industries
    • Understanding of the balance of a consistent brand voice for Fire & Flower and also driving retail and product marketing initiatives
    • Polished written and verbal communication abilities and confidence in presentations and facilitation of working groups
    • Ability to build and lead a team in an agile work environment
    • Expert level abilities in social publishing, tracking and analytics software platforms

You will be responsible for designing the content strategy in collaboration with external agency & executive leadership for both internal & external requirements. Working closely with creative lead & VP Marketing you will be responsible for curating a consistent brand voice for the company.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate the following:

  • Leads the content strategy and copy across all channels for Fire & Flower in collaboration with external agency partners and executive leadership
  • Works closely with the Creative Lead and Vice President, Brand & Marketing to develop and maintain a consistent brand voice
  • Maintains the organizational content calendar across the channels of: digital, in-shop, social, advertising and experiential
  • Collaborates with Fire & Flower’s in-house digital agency on search and digital marketing initiatives
  • Until we build a content team, the ability to create photo and video content primarily for social and digital channels
  • Attends experiential marketing events to live cover events on social channels (eg: Instagram stories, Facebook stories, live tweets)
  • Operates and maintains Fire & Flower’s Brand Ambassador program
  • Works closely with our Training & Development team to ensure that content is consistent with Fire & Flower’s “Widsom Model” of customer experience
  • Provides ongoing weekly reporting on digital marketing metrics and continually revises and refines the content strategy and posting based upon performance
  • Works closely with industry content partners to drive users and customers to Fire & Flower
  • Develops content in compliance with all applicable laws, working closely with the Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs and Vice President, Brand & Marketing
