    •Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing or communications or equivalent experience
    •1-2 years’ work experience in a marketing or corporate communications role
    •Google Ads certification and experience using digital advertising platforms including Facebook Ads, Google Ads and Google Analytics
    •Strong project management skills to successfully manage multiple projects
    •Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing best practices and a passion for the latest marketing trends
    •Knowledge and experience in customer relationship management (CRM) systems is an asset

Description

The Position

Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, we are seeking an organized and enthusiastic self-starter who will be responsible for creating and managing targeted marketing and communication activities to help achieve the Association’s goals.

What You’ll Do

Project Management
•Act as the project manager for assigned traditional and digital marketing campaigns and activities, including community events

•Assist in developing creative strategy, leading production and launching campaigns and programs

•Ensure marketing and communication projects are completed on time, on budget and within scope while maintaining the highest quality of delivery

•Track, schedule and manage projects using Asana (a project management platform)

•Responsible for all internal communications and day-to-day communication of project statuses, and adjusting resources and priorities accordingly

•Assist in managing member data in CRM system to determine member engagement strategies and campaign priorities

Digital Marketing
•Assist in the development of digital media campaigns across channels including social media, website, email, YouTube, paid social advertising and SEM

•Develop and execute strategies for building web traffic and engagement

•Manage the Association’s email marketing program, including list management and ensuring CASL compliance

•Proactive and insightful reporting, including actionable recommendations, on all active programs and marketing & communications campaigns

•Stay abreast of the latest digital and social media best practices, platforms and trends

Content Marketing
•Manage content marketing calendar and distribution of assigned content for website, email marketing and social media channels

•Manage the production of content using freelancers and/or in-house resources
