Overview  

The ideal candidate for this role will assist in all areas of marketing support from our Edmonton office. They will need to be a self-starter with an outgoing personality, organization skills and the ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail. This role requires the candidate to be comfortable managing projects, events as well as coordinating production, timelines and logistics for grand openings and regional marketing campaigns. We are looking for a motivated individual who can complete tasks independently, has a creative skillset, excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as a passion for advertising!

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive attitude and work as a team with key stakeholders at Booster Juice for all initiatives including but not limited to the President/CEO, Marketing Department, Operations Department, Store Development, Accounts, IT, Regional Managers, Franchise Business Consultants (FBC) and Franchise Partners (FP)
  • Serve as a main point of contact for all local store marketing requests/initiatives for Franchise Partners in Western Canada
  • Manage and maintain positive relationships with new and existing Eastern Canada Franchise Partners
  • Be an ambassador for the brand when dealing with external vendors and stakeholders
  • Be involved in new product development and recipe testing
  • Have a valid driver’s license and vehicle as travel is required
  • Have a flexible schedule on the weekend, as occasional work on Saturday is required

Grand Openings

  • Lead the marketing plan development for all Western Canada Booster Juice grand openings which may include scheduling radio live on-locations, Canada Post mail outs, and/or scheduling entertainment on behalf of the Franchise Partner and reporting results
  • Facilitate the execution of each event details including production, shipping as needed, as well as attend all grand openings to increase awareness, post social media content and ensure effective execution of events
  • Organize and maintain marketing assets such as inflatable Booster Juice cups or tents, which may include lifting up to 50lbs, keeping inventory of marketing material and reordering as needed

Regional Marketing Initiatives

  • Support the Western Canada Marketing Lead in the development and execution of regional advertising strategies, marketing activities, large-scale franchise partner requests and event/community partnerships
  • Provide support in the development of strategic regional marketing plans for all Western Canada markets, in consultation with the Eastern Canada Marketing Lead, regional Franchise Business Consultants and Franchise Partners
  • Develop project briefs and timelines to share pertinent campaign details with graphic designers, copywriters and external vendors for all regional marketing initiatives, as needed
  • Lead the coordination and execution of marketing materials production and sponsorship/prizing fulfillment for Western Canada events, arranging shipping requirements with the warehouse as needed
  •  Participate in brainstorm meetings with key stakeholders at Booster Juice to help design regional programs which hit key marketing objectives for the year
  •  Be creative, strategic and maintain a core engagement level with new customer segments for Booster Juice

Social Media Initiatives/Customer Service

  • Work in collaboration with the marketing team, operations team and copywriter to monitor and respond to customers complaints that are shared via social media or via the website
  • Management including, but not limited to, scheduling of approved content and imagery on social media platforms, monitoring and removing third-party content as needed, customer outreach/service and partnership promotions
  • Assisting in content creation at events – taking pictures/videos and posting live to the brand’s platforms

National Marketing Initiatives

  • Manage and sort the marketing inbox, this includes but is not limited to: flagging Western and Western Canada sponsorship opportunities with the appropriate regional Marketing Coordinator/Marketing Lead, as well as addressing customer inquiries and complaints
  • Support the development and execution of national promotional campaign strategies and in-store promotional calendar
  • Work in conjunction with the Western Canada Head Office to ensure all Western Canada stores are informed, and able to execute, regional and national campaign roll-outs on a consistent basis
  • Work with photographers on photoshoots to support with preparation, prop sourcing, scheduling and execution

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in marketing/brand management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of all social networking platforms
  • Warehouse or shipping experience would also be an asset for this role
