h2. Find out all about our judges:

*Brad Dykema*

Before settling in Halifax in 2001, Brad’s career took him from Toronto’s Communique Group to Vancouver’s PJDDB to Amsterdam’s ground-breaking StrawberryFrog.

Today, he’s one of Atlantic Canada’s award-winningest copywriters. His work has been recognized with hardware from Marketing, the Bessies, New York Festivals, ICE Awards, Extra Awards, Advertising and Design, London International Advertising Awards, Archive Magazine, Applied Arts and many more.

At Trampoline, Brad produces and oversees all conceptual work with support from his creative team.

In his free time, Brad likes to wander aimlessly after his toddler.

*Mike Egan*

Mike Egan grew up in Atlanta, Georgia where he spent most of his time shooting free throws. Mike graduated magna cum laude from the Grady College of Journalism at the University of Georgia. After a year as an account coordinator at an agency in Tallahassee, Florida, he quit and went to the Creative Circus before his boss could figure out he was terrible at his job (Sorry, Richard). Mike restarted his career in advertising at VitroRobertson in San Diego before landing a gig at the Wieden + Kennedy mothership in Portland, Oregon. Somehow he’s managed to trick those beautiful suckers into employing him as a copywriter on the Dodge and Chrysler accounts for almost three years. Although, he’s recently noticed that his key card has stopped working and, truth be told, he’s a bit nervous about it.

*Heather Hnatiuk*

Heather Hnatiuk (prev. Heather Vincent) is a Creative Director at TAXI Toronto, where she oversees several brands, including McCain Foods. Prior to her joining in 2011, Heather has worked with numerous respected brands such as Dove, on both the global and Canadian business, and Magnum Ice Cream where she oversaw an award-winning integrated campaign for their launch into the Canadian market. Heather began her career in Vancouver at Palmer Jarvis DDB, and later spent several years at Rethink. Her recognition includes The One Show, Cannes, London International Awards and Communication Arts. Heather also spent some time working in Spain at Sra. Rushmore, Madrid, and has taught at Miami Ad School.

*Andrew Silver*
Andrew Silver (director of operations) partners with clients and internal team members across disciplines at Huge to deliver innovative work. He oversees creative process implementation and maintains communication with key clients to ensure expectations, schedules, strategy and design goals are met. While at Huge, Andrew has worked with Target, Capital One and Reckitt Benckiser, and led the new business team. Before joining Huge, Andrew worked as the director of interactive properties for USA Swimming, overseeing digital strategy for the Colorado-based amateur sports organization. Previously,
he worked for NBC Olympics, where he was a researcher and Emmy-winning writer for NBC’s broadcasts of the 2006 Torino Games and 2008 Beijing Games. Andrew holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Harvard University.

*Rob Tarry*

Rob has been a professional writer since ’95, and joined Rethink in ’99. During that time he’s worked on a wide range of clients: A&P/Dominion, Dose, Bell, Playland, Solo Mobile, Sirius Satellite Radio, Mr. Lube, Science World and many more. His work
has been internationally awarded by Communication Arts, Archive, the Clios, Cannes, London International, D&AD and The One Show. As a creative judge, Rob has participated in the ADDYs, Applied Arts, the Marketing Awards and the Clios print jury.

He’s been a group creative director since 2006 and was named Canada’s top writer by Strategy magazine in the same year. He was no. 3 in 2008 and now he’s somewhere in the top 20 but hey who really cares about these sorta things, right?

Right?

In his spare moments, Rob enjoys snowboarding, cooking and restoring motorcycles.
