ACE is here to support students entering the industry
In our annual ACE Case Competition, you develop a full campaign for a real non-profit in our city, under the guidance of a mentor from Edmonton’s marketing industry. Winners of the ACE Case Competition receive a coveted ACE Award and are invited to attend the awards show. Click here to join the 2022/2023 Case Competition.
During our annual Student Speed Mentoring, you get to sit down with industry experts in 1 on 1, 10 minute speed sessions to ask questions about their careers and industry. In our Resume & Portfolio Building Workshop, you can bring along your resume to be reviewed by experts in the industry. There’s also a panel of industry leaders that will answer everything you wanted to know about resumes and interviews.
As a student member, you can create an internship profile to seek out potential opportunities and be listed in the ACE directory. All members get access to the ACE industry directory where you can connect with other members and service providers.

Each year the Advertising Club of Edmonton provides a deserving Marketing Student at NAIT, Grant MacEwan and The University of Alberta with scholarships of one thousand dollars. Criteria for the scholarships varies at each institution.
A new podcast for students where we make sense of our industry and all its career paths.
The process of figuring out what you want to do with your life can be overwhelming and anxiety-provoking to say the least. But you’ve stumbled upon advertising, an industry where change and unknowns are the only constant and we’re all still figuring out what we’re really in the business of.

Each year the Advertising Club of Edmonton provides a deserving Marketing Student at NAIT, Grant MacEwan and The University of Alberta with One Thousand Dollar Scholarships. Criteria for the scholarships varies at each institution. At The University of Alberta and NAIT it is awarded to students with superior academic achievement, while at Grant MacEwan Community College the competition is open to all Advertising or Marketing Students who demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in Advertising.

Advertising Club of Edmonton Scholarship
Field of Study: Business Administration – Marketing Program
Conditions: Available to a second year student enrolled in the Marketing program. Awarded on the basis of highest standing in the course of Promotional Management and taking Promotional Planning and Promotional Communications.
Application: Program selects recipient.
Don McIntyre Memorial Scholarship
Conditions: Open to all students in programs with advertising or marketing components who demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in advertising.
Application: Students must submit resume and essay on career objectives as it relates to the advertising industry.
Chosen By: SRC/Selection Committee and representative from the Advertising Club of Edmonton
Field of Study: Marketing, School of Business- Nominated by the School of Business.
Conditions: To be awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement entering into the second, third or fourth year of studies in the School of Business majoring in Marketing. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing.
