One night while I was hoisting a heavy garbage bag into a dumpster, it split and showered me with cold chunks of yesterday's minestrone. That night epitomized my own personal definition of defeat. I've come a long way since then. I moved to Edmonton, attended the University of Alberta, and graduated with a degree in English Literature - Just in time for the beginning of a global pandemic. I figured that as long as I didn't have to pick cold noodles out of my hair, there was still more for me to do. I had spent so many years learning about history, linguistics, and anthropology, that I felt ready to turn my attention to telling the stories of the future. To that end, I pursued a diploma in marketing from NAIT, but I feel ready to supplement my education with more practical, hands-on experience. So, if you've made it this far, the only thing you should really know about me is this: I work hard to accomplish the things that I believe in and I'm not too proud to get covered in soup along the way. Related Experience I've been in and out of post-secondary education for the last ten years now. I have a lot of experience researching and writing various projects from academic papers to campaigns.
