Role Description:

You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside our public relations leaders, our creative director, our strategists, and the rest of the team daily. We operate as a unit on projects, meaning you’ll be part of that top-performing, supportive and integrated group – there’s no real creative/accounts divide here, and the partners at Berlin work alongside the rest of the team as we solve complex, interesting, and meaningful challenges. You’re not going to be stuck doing simple, boring bits as you learn the ropes – here, you will be right in the fun, challenging work with us, from day one.

This will be a designer internship within our growing Creative Team. A Designer at Berlin provides graphic design support and creative problem solving to branding projects, advertising campaigns, websites, annual reports and more.

Purpose of the role:

  • Develop high-quality creative, in line with the brief and/or needs of the client
  • Quality control/elevating and pushing the design work
  • Idea/concept generation
  • Learning and growing

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing design support as needed. Depending on the scope of work, this can mean supporting an Art Director or handling all the design needs of a project.
  • Bringing projects to life: once the direction of a project is established, designers own the majority of the production design.
  • Provision of support to external partners such as photographers, video production houses, illustrators or others as needed.

Education Requirements

Qualifications and experience:

  • Ability to work in-office M-F, 9am-5pm
  • Basic understanding of agency process
  • Strong knowledge of Office software – Excel, Word, PPT etc.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Experience designing for digital (online ads, animation, websites etc.)

Salary: $3,250 per month
